Jan is the FEARCE Product Manager at Realis Simulation, formerly Ricardo Software, responsible for developing the product strategy and delivery of Realis’s advanced 3D Finite Element (FE) suite that includes FEARCE-Vulcan.

He joined Realis Simulation in 2020 and is based in Prague. Jan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Czech Technical University, where he specialised in Applied Mechanics.

Prior to joining Realis, Jan spent 12 years at Ricardo analysis, where he held roles in the analysis team. He held various roles, including Lead Analyst responsible for delivering complete powertrain analysis programmes.

Jan focuses on leveraging his expertise in thermo-structural and durability analysis to bring innovative FE capabilities to Realis customers. By incorporating Realis and Ricardo’s structural mechanics know-how into easy-to-use customised solutions, he helps engineers tackle complex challenges on the path to net zero.
