Principal Application Engineer, Structural MechanicsAs Principal Application Engineer and Support Team Leader, Pete is responsible for providing technical support and training for our Structural Mechanics software products for engine and transmission design. Pete graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 30 years of experience in Computer Aided Engineering methods, including Multi-Body Dynamics and Finite Element Analysis with a focus on powertrain components.
Prior to joining Realis Simulation, formally Ricardo Software, in 2016, Pete spent 20 years with Ricardo's technical consulting as a CAE analyst. He held various roles where he was responsible for delivering design and analysis of powertrain components.
In his role of Application Engineer, Pete uses his combined experience in simulation, powertrain component design, and knowledge of Realis' Structural Mechanics products to provide solutions that address the increasingly complex challenges of mechanical simulations.
