Hydrogen fuel combustion is becoming an increasingly viable technology across a range of applications. Simulation software provides a number of tools to accurately predict hydrogen combustion phenomena in all engine types. This includes 3D CFD advanced injection and combustion modelling tools, 1D CFD lean hydrogen models accounting for thermo-diffusive instability and FE calculation of thermal boundary conditions for hydrogen engines.
