Optimised vehicle fluid dynamics

Simulating racing vehicle fluid dynamics
Dynamic vehicle modelling plays a critical role in optimising the overall performance with today’s racing teams under ever mounting pressures to find the most cost-effective approach to improve performance, drivability and speed whilst maximising fuel economy and overall system efficiency.
Manufacturers are required to do more analysis with less engineering resource available in this area.
Vehicle dynamics is simulated using a fluid dynamics toolset to model gas flow, heat flow and air flow in the complete system, enabling these areas to be optimised to make the racing machines as efficient as possible across fluid, gas, air and heat flow lines.
